While browsing my local beer distro's selection, this product stuck out like a sore thumb dying for attention. Flashy photographic packaging w/plenty of keyword mania, snappy product & brewery names. As I read the carton, I noticed it was an "ultra premium lager sour mashed for character." All this added up to a red-flag pass on my part.
Checked in a little more and it appears to be contract brewed by City Brewing in La Crosse for a company started by a former Tenn. Coors employee and it is their sole product so far. Looking at their website and some of the press they have received, it's definitely a slickly marketed venture.

Q: What is Naked Lion™Brewing Company?
A: A family owned brewery, which specializes in creating ultra premium, sour mashed beers for discriminating consumers.
I've always wondered when you are strictly a contract-based brewing concern, is it really correct to refer to yourself as a brewery? Citing it as Memphis-based considering it's not even brewed in Tenn. seems a bit of a stretch.
Initial BA and Ratebeer reviews are what I would expect by my initial impressions.
