I've tried... never worked. Even got the MAP setup and rods.

Maybe try waterweld? It's made by the company that makes JB weld, and they claim it's safe for potable water.
I've never used silver solder though, can't help there.
IIRC there is a good thread over on the greenboard that covers this pretty good....search over there.
Silver solder requires a lot of heat (I don't think MAPP will do it on a large mass), and components must be extremely clean. That's with pure silver solder, not the blended stuff. The other option might be a drill and plug fix. Grant's don't have any pressure do they?

So what would MODOK do if his memory got too full?
He'd find a powersource and then he'd pick what plugs to pull.
