IBU's were 31.7 at 4.1% AA
Sample didn't taste too bitter, lots of hop flavor though

Yea, pretty ordinary I must say. Easy drinker though so glad I did 10 gallons. With school and work about to get crazy again won't have a lot of time to brew.
I did one of these last year. This was what made me realise that I don't care much for EKG.

I'd like to do several smash ales with us 2 row to figure out what hops I like and don't. Maybe 2 gallon batches.
Yeah, I'm with ya there. I'm seriously thinking about just going 2 Row-Amarillo or Simcoe just to really se the awesomeness of the hop. SMASH late hop here I come!
This experiment made me realize my respective loves of Citras and Amarillos...both for different reasons, to be used in the future for much different purposes...

Same... at least not as a prominent flavor in the beer. It's fine as a simple addition in a belgian or something that's really malt forward. But this SMASH made me realize it's a little weird.
