Nice! What's your fermentation & lagering temp/schedule for this one?

It was 70ish the whole time and might have hit 75. I didn't have a lot of control sadly, but I put it in the room on a cool day though when it was around 65.

I have enough closet space in my bedroom (where it stays around 65) for 1 fermenter, so I try to get my ales in there for the first week then swap out when I get another. Most of my beers are stored at 75 to 80F after initial fermentation is done. It's gonna be like that every summer until I get some sort of fermentation chamber.

I've not used WLP003 but several beers with Wyeast 2565 and I really don't like it fermented from the mid 60s up. I usually do 10-14 in the primary then secondary in the fridge at 34 for another 14 days.

I've only done one batch with the SOF so far but it looks quite promising for the minimal investment. I did my last stout w/ WLP007 and kept the chamber at 62 for the fermentation then let it sit around 70 for conditioning.

Yea, I think the pterodactyl was a little too fruity for me at first, but it's mellowed out. I can't wait for the winter when I can really control my temps.

This sucker was a hit! Just got back from my dad's wedding in
Bama. This keg was empty in less than 2 hours after tapping. Everyone loved it. Amarillo is the shizzle
