Default Found: One Full Keg of Beer

Hey guys, cleaning out the garage today and I picked up a keg that for the last 18 months I thought had sanitizer in it. Well, guess what, it's beer.

What should I do with it? I think I am going to dump it, I mean it's pretty old, it was brewed back in July of 2010, and kegged in September of the same year.

Yeah I am going to dump it.

Oh BTW this is what it said on the side of the keg. I'll be back in a bit I am going to go dump that keg and clean it out.

Clearly dumping it without even trying it is the most logical solution to such a situation.

Like OMG Send IT to me for proper disposal!!! LOL!!

What kind of beer was it? I would probably put it on tap and see if it sucked or not. No point in wasting good beer.

18 months in an area subject to constant temperature fluctuations? That's, like, the sweet spot for homebrew! At least that's what the internet tells me.

I have a keg in my basement that's 10+ years old. I have no idea what's in it. Every time I see it I say I should dump it but for some reason I never get around to it.

Well I dumped it. Wish I would have read your guys comments first. Man I am such a noob at this stuff.

Ok, I didn't really dump it. And unfortunately it is not what I thought it was. I am thoroughly confused as to where this beer came from. I thought it was a keg of my Honey Oat Red Ale, as that was the last beer that I brewed. But this one is some form of porter or stout. It is horribly over carbonated and I don't have a kegerator any longer so chilling it and getting it down to a suitable carb level is going present a challenge for me. But it didn't seem to have any off aromas, i won't get a chance to taste it till the weekend when my son goes to his mothers though.

Oh, and my garage actually stays pretty cool, even through the summer so that shouldn't be too much of an issue.
