I bought a 6 pack in sale. It was dated for being bottled a month prior. It was cardboardy and just didn't taste like I thought it should.
I had never had a Saison and figured the style wasn't what I liked.
A couple weeks later, I am in a bar and see it on tap. Ask for a sample and it tastes great! Exactly what I thought it should taste like.
It amazes me that a draft and a month old bottle could taste so different.
