    Default Just got a Tap-a-draft

Got the system shipped from the manufacturer...it ended up being about as much money as a beginner keg setup. However it takes up a helluva lot less space and I can put it in my fridge and take it to the park, etc. There's no way a co2 tank, buncha lines, fridge, taps, kegs all over the place would fly where I live but brewing 5 or 10 gals a week makes for a SHITTY time bottling it all, fucksakes.

So looking forward to this. Anyone else using one? (Didn't think so).

Plus it gives me an excuse to order a buncha nitrous chargers without being suspicious.

I've used mine a few times. I'm pretty happy with it.

i've been tossing around the idea of getting one of these rigs too. not many user reviews out there though so i'd definitely be interested in a followup post once you've run a batch through it.

I used to use one, never had any problems with it, and 2 co2 cartridges was enough for each bottle. I took a 2-year break from homebrewing, and when I got back into it the damn thing wouldn't hold pressure anymore, I ran through about 10 co2 cartridges per bottle. Changing the O rings didn't help, so now I'm just back to bottling.

That sounds bizarre. You'd think that swapping the rings would fix that kind of problem.

I'm gonna bottle 2 batches today for it so we'll see in a few weeks whether or not I threw money down the toilet.
