Back on subject. The I was talking to about the 20lb tanks wanted $135 security deposit, $35 year fee, $16 fill fee. Well I just went somewhere else, bought a #5 tank and called it good. How long will this last?

I use a 5 pound tank for two taps and carbonating and it lasts for close to a year. Granted, most of those were English style ales with low carbonation. Even so; my last refill was a month ago and it still had plenty when I had to refill it, I didn't tighten a fitting down and emptied the tank.

That yearly fee sucks, I pay about 10 dollars for a refill of my own tank. I think you're better off just buying your own.

Ya. thats what i did. I might pick up another one to have on back up in case i do run out then I dont have to try and go out right away to get a refill.
