Bier de Mars is Ommegang, I have a bottle of it at home.
New Belgium was one of the breweries that turned me on to craft brew, specifically the Fat Tire. But I quickly moved past them being in the Pacific Northwest there is no shortage on good beers to drink, and once you get over the whole "beer should have as little taste as possible" stigma I think that it is really easy to move on and forget about beers such as Fat Tire. I will say that when I saw it in Indiana for the first time a few months back a slight tinge of nastalgia came over me and I was tempted to pick up a 12er, but then I saw that they were selling a 12 pack of cans for $18 and thought better of it. I did how ever pick up the 1554 and was not disapointed in it. I have had the Fat Tire on a couple of ocasions now at friends houses and can say that while I will like the beer for it's place in my history, I won't be buying it anytime soon.

Black Lab said it the best. Common taste of funk throughout almost every beer of theirs that I have tasted. I was just "splaining" this to a buddy last night. He thinks I'm crazy but it's there and waaay noticeable.

I agree with the common flavor. Seems even a bit metalic to me.

Then I tried mighty arrow. By far the best beer from the company. I was so impressed by this beer. I am starting to like cascades more and more and they fit perfectly in this beer. I like the full flavor profiles, but the balance was excellent.
