Default Worst brew day ever!

So 1st off my manifold fail apart sometime during my 60 min mash resulting in it being stuck, so I have to dump it into a bucket reassemble it and clean out the grain. I stick it all back in the tun let it settle a bit and boom stuck again. So I dump it out again and what not make sure its all good and stick it back together wait a few min and again its stuck. Finally I remember I have some rice hulls so I dump out again but add a shit ton of rice hulls around the manifold before pouring back in. Bingo! Rice hulls saved the day.

So then I go to light my burner to start the boil and the damn burner keeps going out. It wasn't the wind cause I was in my garage. After several tries to light it my lighter runs out of fuel. So all I have left are a pack of matches I got from a bar. After burning the shit out of my fingers it finally lights and stays lit.

After that it was an average day and my new dip tube on my keggle worked beautifully so now I have 7 gallons of a blonde ale in the fermentors.

Sry for the rambling but thats how the day went.

It's good to have days like that every now and then so that you can have a good laugh while you are drinking the beer and amazed that it turned out good!

My wife still likes to rib me about the Fubar beer I made several years ago.

Well, the worst day brewing is still better than the best day not brewing.

Worst. Brewday. EVER!

Srsly, I've heard of much worse brewdays. Never happened to me, but I've heard of people going through the entire brewday, getting everything into the carboy, then dropping the whole thing on the floor. So, yeah, consider yourself lucky...
