This guy is good, but don't expect any bite. Very mellow, residual sweetness and very smooth. I don't recommend the BADCOW... that was like my 3rd or 4th brew and I didn't know what I was doing. That recipe is probably garbage.

I'm making this very soon, but I'm kicking the gravity up and the IBUs a bit.


7 lbs pale
18 oz flaked barley
1 lb cara pils
13 oz roasted barley
9 oz chocolate malt
.5 oz Millennium hops 15%AA for 70 min 26.5 IBU

for 5.25 gallons
OG 1.051

Thanks for brewing it! I'll be keggin my second batch of this sucker this season today. I put some canned pumpkin in this latest batch though We'll see hwo that goes.

I think it's time to get the home made candi-sugar thread up over here too.
