Thanks for the help. I don't know what the attenuation level is yet, but I will put it at about 75-80% just to be safe.

Well, Sideshow rory and I took a litre of this to the homebrew club tonight and it was a RAGING success!

It's officially one of my house brews.

I think I'm going to add my most recent version of this to the top post. I made a few slight changes and am very happy with the results. I've dropped the Carapils and changed the bittering hops to Magnum. It is a bit bigger than the older version but still very balanced. I definitely would not increase the bittering IBU's any more than this, so if you brew it make sure to adjust the bittering hops to as close to 23 IBU's as possible.

This version although a few points higher in IBU's, has a cleaner finish with a ton of hop flavor and aroma while still keeping the malty balance I was looking for in the original version. There isn't a huge difference from the original but just enough to make it a more polished beer.

Since I'm relegated to extract brewing at the moment, I figured I'd convert this over. ordered the ingredients today, so I hope to brew it next Tuesday. May not be exactly the same beer, but I'm hoping to come close. I'll update the results when done.
