If you're going to go AG and you plan on brewing more than once or twice a year, a mill will pay back huge over time....it's really a no-brainer gear purchase.

As far as choice, you'll prb be fine with any of the major monster/BC/cranknstein. I have the BC w/ the 7# hopper and it's really no big deal to re-fill the hopper as you grind.

Built my own hopper and base but you can buy them if you don't wanna make your own. Barley crusher is also good, so is monster mill.
Wow! nice mill I would swap my Marga mill any day for it. Can't get over how cheap brew stuff is over your way. I bought my March pump from Moorebeer at AUD$100 cheaper than than the distributer here and that was including USD$50 freight. Looks like I will have to put an order in for a Crankenstein.

Cheers

I've had the BC for several years, and it's worked great on the factory crush until now. Recently, the slave roller will disengage during operation, which means no crushing. I just wrote the BC folks to see what they can do to help...it does have a lifetime warranty, after all. I'll post updates if they reply.

Your lifetime, or the crusher's lifetime?
