Hello all. I have been around for 54 years and have yet to pop my home brewing cherry. I know virtually nothing about the process, used to make wine when I was a teenager many years ago, but wasn't serious with it. Hoping to pick up as much info as I can BEFORE I dive in. My name is Skip and I live in SW Florida, originally from Ohio. Been on some cigar boards for a few years and thought I would give this a shot. I will look around before I start asking stupid questions, I can only assume most have already been answered.

That's cool, I have spent some time out in the Cape, I grew up down in San Carlos and Estero. Would love to get back down there one day if it weren't for the lack of work for me. It's good to see more and more Floridians getting into good beer, from what I hear, and have seen the few times I have been back to visit my folks, you all are getting better and better beer down there all the time.

Welcome SKip!
This is the video series that got me interested in brewing and later I watched it several times before brewing my own All grain batch. He does a great job explaining it all. Its an 8 part vid with each vid being 2-3 min so watch all 8 of them. Good luck and don't be afraid to ask questions no matter how dumb you might think they are or if they've been answered 1000 times before on here before. Ask away! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eIGrs...eature=related

Welcome Skip! Don't be afraid to ask a bunch of questions. That's what everyone is here for. What part of Ohio were you from?
