Hey guys! As I said in another thread, I bought myself some new AG equipment. So now, I really don't have the choice to take the jump in the All-grain world!
I may have a ton of questions coming soon but for now, here is what I bought: All is in it's place The grain mill The brew-pot The mash-tun

And the last item:
The super Stainless steel fermentor: So, what do you think? I'm a missing something? I have a propane burner but I'm thinking of converting another keg ang going electric. Also, The guy said that the mash tun is losing 3-4 degrees over 1 hour. But, the top is only insulated with a sheet of foil-bubble-wrap. Any tricks to be more efficient? Thanks!

That is a pretty sweet set up man! Did you put it all together or find someone selling their whole lot?
Looks like you got everything you need there, except of course for the stripper pole ![]()

K4df4l: Nope, haven't brewed with all that yet. Maybe next week-end or the one after.
WOP31: yup, bought it all from one guy who was selling all the lot. mr x: The guy bought the conical from "les spécialistes de l'acier inoxydable" in boisbriand Québec. It is 60L or 70L, not sure. The previous owner always did 50L batches and said you could fit another 15L for sure and still have space for the krausen. It can be cooled via a chill plate, but I don't think I'll use that option for now. I can't wait to try it.

Awesome link. If you don't mind me asking, what was the price on the conical?

Well I can't talk to xjiefx anymore, he's on another level now with that ridiculously pro setup.
Hopefully you got that stuff for a decent price, looks really expensive. Congrats! |
