My wife loved the Northern Brewer Cream Ale and I did too, but I would like some more hop bitterness. Do you think I can get away with adding an ounce of Willamette hops at the end of the boil to make it more hoppy for me and not kill the recipe?

To get more bitterness you would need to add it towards the start of the boil.

When do I add if I want to add more hop flavors? Perhaps this should be on the newbie forum.

Flavors tend to result from 10 to 20 minutes left in the boil additions. Williamette is a delicious hop
