Why is the color green green? why cant the color green be blue or red..?

Because even a difference of about 100 nm produces different colors in the photospectrum. Blue absorbs at ~450 nm, green at 550 nm, and red at the highest visible wavelength; 750 nm.

I suggest a bit of lysergic acid diethylamide. Lends great flexibility to the color scheme of your life, and you'll find that green can be blue or red.

Don't use too much, a little dab'll do ya.
