Microsoft's shitbox 360 has about a 70% failure rate for the first generation of the consoles. The newer one's aren't much better. Basically, if you have an xbox, you have about a 1/3 or more chance it's going to just randomly stop working. It's called the red ring of death because the power lights on the front turn red. I've had it happen 3 times, luckily I had the best buy extended warranty that replaced it immediately.

Yup. Now I have to wait a few days for Bill to rip a few dollars out of his ass to send me a prepaid shipping box to send them my Xbrick back to them where they will try to get me another one in about 20 days. Pissed.

Well, I have to say this much for microsloth, they are getting really good at replacing these things. Just got mine back 11 days after the crap out. Not as bad as I thought it would be.

New one. This time around it has the heat sink and I am keeping a fan blowing on the Xbrick while gaming.
