2nd Official HBC Sign-up Thread

Sign ups will be closed by May 1st. Beers should be shipped out by May 18th. If you need a little longer to ship yours, just work it out with your swap partner, but try to shoot for around that date.

Number of swap partners will depend on how many people sign up. It should be either 2 or 3, no more. You will need to ship at least 2 varieties of beer and a total of 4 x 12 ounce bottles, 2 x 36 ounce or 3 x 22 ounce big bottles... if you feel like throwing an extra in there, don't feel like you can't.

Your beers will be reviewed in the critiques section, if you don't want them reviewed then just don't send through this swap.

I'll have 2 super aroma/flavor hopped APA's ready. One cascade, one simcoe. And my belgian IPA went into the keg last night. Should be ready by then. I sampled it this morning and it's wayyyyy to fucking bitter, needs to calm down a bit.

o,flann i,d like to send kudo,s on the swap thing. is this regular on other homebrew sites? or one of your ideas? i really like the concept sending beers to strangers and recieving the same appeals to me. i haven,t been so siked about my homebrew in years. i always still brew but the swaps add an element of excitment

I apologize if I didnt write a review for your beers - It is not that they sucked or didnt suck - I have been working 60+ hours a week since Thankgiving and dont have time to shit much less write a review. I have notes, and will post this weekend.

OK, like an idiot I forgot to get everyone's addresses when you'll were signing up. So, PM your address to the folks supposed to send you beer. If you don't receive an address or something let me know and I will try and contact the person. If your beer hasn't been shipped out by May 23 also let me know. I moved the ship by date back 5 days due to lateness on getting partner's names out.

Ok, stupid question. I've never participated in a swap before. How do you go about sending it out? What company do you use? UPS, Fed Ex?

UPS all the way, and put collectable glass or yeast samples in the description. Package with bubble wrap tightly! :x

also place all of the beers in a strong plastic bag that is sealed tightly in case one breaks.
