I'm happy, this baby should give a yield this year. I have a bunch of others too but this one is the biggest so far.

Damn my Cascade is already about 4" long after one week in the dirt. I can not wait. I like the tomato cage, I should go pick a few up!

don,t bother with the tomato cage this is a plant that will easly grow 20 to 25 feet in three months. a string up the side of your house all the way to the gable on a 2 story house is barely enough. this is truly a cool plant when the weather starts to warm you can almost watch the vine grow. mine in early spring will grow a foot a day
p.s offer some of the spare shoots to the guys

Tell me how to do it and their yours
If you look at the pic close you can see the strings on the cage that shoot up about 30 feet, cages are just there to start out

you should get hops this year. nice looking plant if you want to give away shoots wait until the shoots are several feet away from the main plant pull on the shoots until you get the roots pulling up and just cut the root to ship wrap the roots in wet paper towels than wrap plastic around to keep the roots wet

Easy enough, but won't it be a little late to plant by the time they get several feet long?
