Since it was a warm day out, I was monkeying with my draft box. Having never had one of these, what's the best way to clean the circuits of the cold plate? It was used for soda previously. Run an oxy mix under pressure thru it, then rinse with water under pressure, then star san thru it? It's a 4 circuit, but only 3 look to have been used.

that sounds like all you would have to do, as long as everything is SS you should be good

I would HIGHLY recommend getting some BLC and running it through. I used to just use hot water and star san on my CFC but then I ran a batch of BLC through and I was fairly amazed at the brown water that came out.

Do you have a pump? If so, fill your MLT or kettle with water an OxyClean (next time you're ready to clean it) and then pump it through the contraption. Take it apart as much as possible to make sure no hop leaves or trub is stuck in there.

A good March pump is the handiest contraption for brewing.

No, no pump, but that's a great idea. Might have to look into a pump. Wise investment for future uses. :x
