I'm new to the home brew world and haven't started brewing yet.I already know what beer making kit I want but not sure on the beer I would like to brew.Hope to find the info I need to get me on my way to enjoying my own brew.I plan to get started with in the next few weeks..:D

Welcome to the obsession KK.From your list of favorite beers (Bud Light,Corona,Heineken,Icehouse ) you might think about brewing something similar.
A cream ale is similar to those and is an easy and cheap brew to start with.

Welcome.. You are doing exactly what Im did.. Researched before buying anyways.. I got the Starter kit from Midwest that came with everything you needed, including the BB which was nice.. One thing I didnt get and didnt know about, it comes with a no rinse clenser.. Its "NOT" a sanitizer, so make sure you order some star san when you order your kit... Trust me on this one.. And my first beer was a pumpkin ale, and then I went with an Autumn amber ale for my second one.. :) You're going to love it..

I live between Wilmington and N.mrytle beach in supply close to Holden Beach.

Ahh, gotcha, I've never seen an NC beach before, been to Myrtle in SC though

I really hate the beach!!! I'm moving soon back to where I grew up as a child.I like the sticks better,less people to worry you,lol..

I really hate the sticks!!! With in the next couple years we are moving to the coast. My mom lives @ Holden. Nice place I was down 2 weeks ago. Love the salt air.

Holden is pretty nice"on the beach"..The surrounding area is just to much for me.There is to much crime these days for me and I really don't want to raise my child around all the crap that could go on.The kids around here even at a young age are on drugs really bad or are little want to be gangsters..I had a teenager try to sell me pills at the store the other day,wow!Really?

It's the same all the way through.I get crime reports via e-mail and you wouldn't believe the things these people do around here.I get about 12 to 15 reports a day.People cross the inlets to get to the beach houses in boats and do B&E's on vacation houses..
