Looks nice! How well do the exaust fans work, and how loud are they? Electric or Gas?

Brew room is awesome - already ran out of room. :)

Natural Gas burners the fans are pretty loud. I can hear them rumble in my daughters bedroom above the brewroom. I am going to upgrade to a more powerful quieter fan. They are currently 70cfm, but I hope to move to a 120+cfm which are quieter but a bit more expensive.

Well the Mitchell Brothers Brewing Company has closed.

Mostly because one of the Brothers hasn't been here to assist in the cost nor the brewing for that matter.

So I have changed the name to B & E Brewing.

B & E does not stand for Breaking and Entering. It is the first initials of my daughters Names. Bryna (pronounced BR IN A) and Ella.

The website will be up soon with pictures and recipes of the 5 main brews, 3 seasonal brews and any other attempts at other beers I may decide to make.

So I got a lot of things done for the brew room today.

Put the Heat Shield on around the HLT burner. The flame was coming up into the opening below the thermometer.

So I put in a piece of 16 gauge steel, not really the thickest piece of steel but should be enough to redirect the heat from throwing off the Thermometer.

Cut enough out of the piece so that it wouldn't interfere with the Flame as well.

Also Put a Heat Shield next to the Mash Cooler. When I did the test run, the cooler was wicked hot and I didnt think it would be a good idea if it started to melt on my first live run.

Also got the Piping soldered up for the Utility Tub, tomorrow I should be able to get the PVC piping setup for the drain. I am taping into the existing drain so I have to replace some of the PVC that is there already.

So we are definitely on Schedule to pop the Cherry on the new AG setup Saturday. I am thinking that I am not going to BrewCast on this one. This way if anything goes wrong its not live.:o
