so i had a crazy work week last week (which did include working 2 days at daytona bike week, and 1 day with that golfer who killed that bird; anyone hear about that??) and then this past weekend i was sick as a dog. still fighting the cold, and approaching another busy work week, i can't help but feel out of the loop on the site. now that i am feeling a little better, and after tuesday night, work should die down for the rest of the week, i should have some time to catch back up and see what everyone has been posting! (not to mention browsing the site instead of working!)

in other news, i should be studying to get my CDL...hopefully i'll take the test this week and hopefully i'll pass! (i get a raise once i get it!)

Raises are always good! Welcome back, glad you're feeling better. Been some time since I've gotten real sick. Guess that means I'm due.

Daytona Bike week, huh? I just now noticed that you are from Orlando, I grew up down in Ft. Myers, south of Tampa. Bike week has got to be one hellofa time! I spent some time there in Daytona , mostly for the car shows they have at the speedway, love that town. used to have some friends that went to UCF, years ago, that is a great town to go party in, don't think i would want to live there though, i had a hard enough time dealing with the tourist in southern FL.

tourists do suck, and a lot of my jobs are at disney or universal so it's extra harsh, but luckily i live near downtown, which is a good 30-40 mins from all the attractions...now snowbirds...that's a different story...

...bike week was ok, but we mostly just worked...on some corporate marketing video so i didn't really get to relish in all the glory...which is sad...oh well...

i actually grew up in venice, just an hour north of ft. meyers...have some inlaws that live down their too...
