I bought some of this stuff at the supermarket a few weeks back out of curiosity and I'm glad I did. I can't really detect much of the authentic Guinness flavor, but it doesn't really matter. This sauce is awesome. Absolutely perfect on a turkey sandwich, on steak, barbecued chicken, or even on tortilla chips when you run out of salsa ;) It has a very nice balance between sweet, spicy, and smokey. It's not the best sauce I've had by any means, but for store bought Kraft-brand barbecue sauce, it's pretty damn good.

100% ACK! I love this stuff since I bought the first bottle at the end of last year. Even my gf loves it...and she is quite picky when it comes to these type of things. As already said, certainly not the best sauce out there, but for 2 for $4, there is nothing wrong with it! :D

I know Bulls Eye doesn't use high fructose corn syrup. Does the Guinness version?

No, it doesn't have high fructose corn syrup either. I wouldn't really care if it did, though.

Man....I bought some glass bottle coca colas tonight made with sugar. Freaking amazing shit. Not overly sweet and cloying like the shit made with high fructose shit.

Yeah, that's all we get, here. You can buy cases of them on Amazon and sometimes Costco gets them in.

I think it's good that they go without high fructose bs. Just got back from Germany visiting my parents and was remembered how good (or even better) stuff is without all that MSG, high fructose corn syrup, etc in everything. Ketchup, Coke, bread, .... almost EVERYTHING is without and it works great. I think we still have a long way to go in that regards. /OT

The reason I heard that everyone started using HFCS is because sugar costs much much more in the US than every where else in the world. The reason being is we have a large import tax on sugar for some reason.
