Drying Hops

Any suggestions on the best way to dry hops? I am thinking that I will just put them on a screen and place them in the attic for about 3 days. Fluff them every day and that should be about it, right. I read somewhere where you can put them in between some furnace filters, bungee corded to a box fan.....but I really don't want to go through all that if just putting them in the attic will work. They are just about ready to pick.

A fan or some kind of air movement will be a big help.

Mine dried out fine last year with no fan...just made a square out of some 1x's, then stapled some insect screen onto that. Worked like a charm.

a food dehydrator on low works just fine unless you have a lot of hops to dry
