very refreshing brew my grandma use to make. i think she stole the recipe or cloned it from the august schell brewery in new ulm minnessota. i'll be brewing it this weekend.

i've got quite a few recipes from there. making another trip in a few weeks. i shall see what i can scrounge up. my grandmother in law lived in the lil appartment there for quite a while. she grew up with that family.

How come you do a 60min boil? No 90min to get rid of some DMS?

Obviously not addressed to me but I'll often boil my pils based beers for 60-75 minutes and have yet to get any comments about dms or detect it myself.....hard boil and a fast chill seem enough to prevent dms in my beers. YMMV.
