Im sitting here looking at 20" of snow in the ground thinking. I need some in the pipe for summer!

I was thinking a little twist on my rye ale

7 lb American 2row Pale 33 1
2lb Rye Malt 30 2
1lb Flaked Maize
1lb American White Wheat 39 2

1 oz Cascade 60 min
1 oz Cascade flameout

1 lemon worth of zest
1 lime worth of zest

US05

what do you clowns think?

Ah. . . that fits nicely in the rye wit cream ale category!

Sounds yummy. My summer drinking brews are going to be a weizen, a low-grav Belgian Biere de Table and a Dortmunder lager, plus I'll have 3 gallons of cider left as well.

It's 82F here.

And sunny.
