Here's the first test video from the camera I will be using for brewcast.tv. This with dusk lighting only, no special lights, no adjustments in after effects. Scaled from 1080p to 720p for the web. Medium quality h.264 compression. I think the best shot is at the end during the batch sparge stir:

Video quality looks great. I like the keggle melt on the mash tun lid.
Was there suppose to be audio?

Solid
Nice job, it looks good. :k2:
And FWIW as a sidenote, it's just that type of vid that would make someone less freaked by doing an AG brew. It does to me anyway. The desire is there to do it, but UNTIL you do it, it can seem like a monumental feat. That vid shows there's nothing to be scared of. Nice job Flanny, and again, from a tech standpoint, it looks good. Get some audio in there and methinks yer good to go.

I have a TON more footage of weight/crushing the grain, the boil, hop additions, chilling and all. That's just a tech demo. I'll piece it together with audio and textual narrative at some point.

Can't wait
I wish everything looked that good on the web.

the picture quality looked good. it played a little choppy on my computer, though. I read that vimeo caps the frame rate at 24 fps, so if you uploaded it at a faster rate, you might want to try one at 24 fps. If it wasn't above that, then I guess vimeo videos just run like crap on my computer :)

Good call, I had it at 29.97fps, I'll render at 24 next time. The first 5 seconds was choppy for me, but then it smooths out.

Awesome, looks good Flanny, I think that the video quality was great, but I did get the choppy five seconds like you mentioned, but I think that you figured out how to fix that.
