I just bottles a IIPA that I dry hopped the fusk out of. I couldn't get out all of it and there are a few floaties in some of the beers. No biggie, right?

Yeah, no worries. Just some yeast that didn't drop out of suspension. I had the same thing in a few of my beers. Eventually they settled to the bottom.

Nah, it's actual hop particles. I saw them going in as I bottled.

I think your fine, not like its going to bitter it up anymore or anything. And I'm sure its not enough to screw with the flavor at all. You'll just have to see it when you drink it is all.

I've had them in the first few pints of a keg before. Nothing to worry about. Might bother you if you are a clarity stickler though.

Nope, nothing to worry about at all. If anything, it will keep other people out of it and with an IIPA that's a good thing.

If you want to prevent that in the future, I've found that racking to tertiary after a huge dry hop then crash cooling for 4-5 days at about 40F gets everything to fall out and results in a very clear IIPA.

yup...and if I don't want to take the extra time, I put a piece of sanitized fine mesh window screen over my spigot inlet. This will filter out the small particles and I like it better than trying to filter the outflow or inflow of my autosiphon.

Wow, seriously :crack: Sorry again.

I know, I was totally offended, thinking, how's Tankard gonna go there?

Then I found it in my heart to forgive you.

I think it's the seeds tbh. I have had that in some brews.

Some of the best "hops" I ever had probably came from BC (British Columbia)
where's Oregonnative when you need a good "hop" discussion.
