I dont see why it wouldn't work. Unless the compressor went out or something, the freon in it should be fine as long as there were no leaks. I suppose a seal could have dried out or something.

I hope someone on here took advantage of that, that is a really good deal, even if you have to spend a couple of bucks fixing it up.

Didn't bother Pete. We're probably going to pick up the chest freezer we looked at the other night after the taxes are done. We just didn't have enough room for that one.
