i had some extra time and decided to put chalk board paint on my kegs and kegerator so i would know whats what and my friends would to. i taped off the areas with blue painters tape and newspaper to avoid over spray. i sanded the areas with 200 grit sand paper to ruff up the area. sprayed the are with chalk board paint and let it dry. when it dried i put chalk dust over the entire area and preped it for use. total cost was less than $12. here are some pics.

it was really easy to do and helps me remember what is what because i do secondary fermentations in the kegs. when i have 3 of them going at once i used to get them confused.

you can get it in a regular style too, that you have to brush or roll on. That way you arent having to mask off as much shit.

I just use my label maker for the kegs themselves, but that chalkboard stuff sounds like a good idea for the door. I've been scheming on rigging up some kind of dry erase board, but the chalkboard look is so much cooler.

this is much cooler than a dry erase board. i have it above both of my taps so everybody know what it is and dosnt have to ask. im also thinking about putting it on the side of the fridge so my friends can draw on it when theyre drinking.

My Wife sprayed it on the kitchen wall for a built-in note pad...
