me and a friend brewed mostly all day on saturday. we made a honey brown, a barleywine, a pale ale, and a stout. all of them were all grain recipes. it was a good day of brewing and shooting the shit.

4 separate brews, good god. I've done two in a day and that was lots of work.

it was a good amount of work we started at 10 and ended at 9 so it was a full day.

Nice work man, i wish i had the time to knock out four brews in a day. I am lucky if i can squeeze in one a month.

That's how I've been feeling. I've been thinking about doing the bcc west coast blaster for about 3 weeks now. I just need to wake up early on Saturday and get some brewing done.

one of these was a 10 gallon brew. i forgot how long these take to heat up sparge water and get to a boil.

on my 10 gallon batches, I kick on my burner when I start my second sparge (kettle is about 1/2 full at that point) and by the time that sparge is done, it is only another 5-10 minutes till I have a rolling boil and am ready for hop additions. Just a little info that may help to save some time in the future. :alc:
