Thats a great tap! I was talking about : http://www.homebrewchatter.com/home2/galleries/169/motorcycles1_05%20018.jpg
And I was wondering how well the paddle seen here worked: http://www.homebrewchatter.com/home2/galleries/169/dsc03105.jpg

It is a control for mashing temperature and timer. It consists of a pump, a electric heating unit, and a agitating system that keeps the fluid flowing thru the grain. Bottom to top fluid circulation. Very Nifty brewery.
the paddle and electric motor are VERY torquey special gear reduction set up. get it filled up for a finished 10 gal batch and clean up is a lot of work. donate to a hog farm! maybe get a hog roast or two a year!!
love the tapper!!

How well does the mash mixer work? How many rpm does it run at? I like the idea, but I would want to build something that I can dough in with.
