Shenanigans!

Been using the same stuff for almost a year with no issues. this included plastic buckets, auto siphon, and tubing. Yes you need to take a little more time making sure everything is sanitized well, but nothing more than what you should be doing anyways.

Amen, brotha! I've yet to rack my Brett-brews post-infection, but I don't think I'll stress too bad over it.

Just used a bucket that had roselare in it for a regular brew, no issues. Just bleached it well before using again.

I was doing this at first, but have found that star san does the trick all in its self. I just give it a good 1/2 hour soak.

I was hoping someone would catch onto that.

I've never used either the Brett or the lacto, but a bug is a bug is a bug.

Star-san and proper cleaning should do it. I imagine this rumor comes from people not properly cleaning their racking cane and hosing or using scratched buckets.
