Gonna use up some hop pelletes that are almost a year old. Have about .85 ounce chinook and 2.75 ounce simcoe that need to be used ASAP. So, here's what I threw together:

Efficiency: 75%
OG: 1.090
SRM: 6.2
IBU: 74.1

10lb Wheat Malt
7lb Pale Malt
.5lb Crystal 20

.85oz Chinook FWH
1oz Simcoe FWH
.75oz Simcoe 10min
1oz Simcoe 1min

Really dry, slightly fruity. I did it because I forgot to label my washed yeasts and wound up using 3 bottles of washed yeast one night and I'm pretty sure I used one bottle of WLP001 and 2 bottles of WLP003

Double Wheat IPA.....I love it, that sounds like a good beer man. It will be interesting to see how the wheat plays out with the Piney simcoe hops.

Absolutely delicious. I can't stress enough how good the simcoe/amarillo combo is. This guy has a clean, crisp wheat tang to it and on top is a massive simcoe flavor. I dry hopped with probably close to 2 ounces of amarillo leaf hops. The aroma is huge and delicious. I'm so glad to have this guy on tap. I just pulled my first glass and am hooked. Will. Be. Gone. QUICK.

I hit terrible efficiency on this brew, I believe it was around 1.076. Dropped down to 1.012

This guy is kind of young. But I think it's probably in it's prime now or soon since it's based on wheat and massive hoppiness.

Hm it sounds interesting :) How did you ferment? 60min boil? Mash temp? I have some of the same stuff sitting around and might try it
