I'm pretty excited about this shit. Haven't had real ale since I was in England a couple days ago. Took a pic of the poster. Should be a real good time. BME... you should talk your wife into watching the kids and come have some real ale with me on Saturday.

Well, stopped by for a minute today before heading back to WAtertown. I sampled a belgian sour and an oktoberfest. They were both good beers, but the belgian sour was 100% flat and that bothered me. I like real ale, but I like it with a touch of carbonation. The fest had just the right amount of carbonation for me and it was absolutely delicious. Can't wait to sample all 12 casks tomorrow.

I stopped in too. Right after lunch. I tired the belgian sour too and agree it was flat. I was looking forwrd to tasting it. I've only tried it a couple sours and not gotten a good one yet (maybe i don't like the style?). I really liked the Extraordinary ale and the best I tried was the Freshchester. I had a sip of the vinilla and pumpkin and both were just ok. There is no chance I can go over the weekend - maybe next time.

Ó Flannagáin and Bmelanco you guys live in Watertown? My brother in-law and his wife live up there. My wife and I went to visit him a few months ago.

Man if I knew about this type of festival I should have changed the trip date.
