Duh, nice. I didn't realize you could do 100 results a page with google, that makes it a lot easier. I thought you were clicking through 10 results at a time

late addition brewing shows up in the top 7 pages or so.
Google bot has been on the page for quite a while today. I'm not talking the adwords or adsense bot either, but the regular ol' google bot.

diet food recipes....WTF?
Ó Flannagáin
01-14-2008, 08:06 PM
I guess one of our recipes in the food section has the word diet in it. Google picks up on the strangest things. And, these aren't necessarily from google, they could be from any search engine that has us listed.

That is it...we need to make an Michalob Ultra recipe.
.5 lbs pale malt
.025 lb carapils
wave a bag of sealed willamett over the 5 gallon boil
chill then rack onto a dirty sweat sock and lager for 1 month.
Ó Flannagáin
01-14-2008, 11:13 PM
I'd suggest replacing the carapils with corn sugar... mash around 145

I see you're advertising. You showed up in my gmail ads in a conversation between me and Rdwj.
Ó Flannagáin
01-24-2008, 05:56 PM
I'm really starting to show up in some good searches in google to. I almost always the only ad when searching "how to homebrew" which is killer. I only pay when there's a click thru and I set my limit to like 40 cents max, so I usually pay between 15 and 40 cents a click. I decided to stop advertising with BYO. I got all of 6 click thrus for 60 bucks. I got 2400 impressions, but their click thru rate is terrible and I didn't see my ad once. Not to mention they put me on realbeer.com instead of BYO without telling me. realbeer.com isn't a homebrew specific website. Not happy with their service. I am taking out a text ad in the mar/apr issue of BYO though.

I dunno, possibly. All my advertisement links go through http://www.google.com. Also, they can't read this forum or the drunk forum/red forum
