Oktoberfest and Apfelwein....
The Okt is nice and smooth. Crystal clear with a nutty smooth finish. No ester and very little hop finish, just a great straight up easy drinking brew. Little toasty taste with a slight hint of nutty. This one finished a bit sweet with a nice aftertaste! The American hops really ad a nice spicy aroma. 1-10 I would give it an 8

Nice, sounds like a good beverage. I had 3 broken halo IPA's tonight. I was planning on have a couple of my hobgoblins, but my wife sent me to the store to get her some *sigh* smirnoff ice's so in order to not be completely embarrassed I had to buy some real beer too. I couldn't stand in the checkout line with just smirnoff in my hands... good lord.

yeah the guys at the store always laugh and say "something here is not like the others" when i have a 12er of miller lite and a sixer of micro with a couple of bommers. Got to tell them it is for the old lady. One guy started giving me shit because i was buying a bottle of fruity wine and some craft brew, I wanted to tell him to eat a dick.

Started with one of my Pissiour Rouges followed by a Rochefort 10 clone (with black peppercorn added)... those two brews gave me a nice buzz and now I'm just enjoying a brown/porter. Good evening over all :D

I have a little bit of a belgian wit(ish) that i am saving for the swap, hopefully it will last that long. But other than that i have been pretty dry through out the week, i am saving my comercial reserves for the weekends.

Working one of my rochefort 10 clones right now, have another in the fridge waiting for this one to finish. I think this might be the best beer I've ever made. I wish it was a touch more carbonated, but it's still awesome.

DS! I'm glad it turned out for you. I just had one as well and it had a big fluffy head on it like no other beer I've had. It was also super carbed, which was great. I only have 3 or 4 left :(

Well, I'm actually working on Brewpages.com tonight as I sit here and drink/post on the forum. This site is gonna be cool and all my recipes will be there once it's ready. I might have the rochefort in the DB already though.
