I was shooting for a lighter beer than what I got, but due to better than expected efficiency this beer is bigger and darker than the Blonde in the title suggests. However, it was a happy accident, I really dig this brew, so much so that it's the first recipe I'm posting here.

EDIT: Now that I have had a few of these, there is a change I think I'll make, and that''s to up the bitterness, targeting more in the 25-30 IBU range.

Brewed this one up again with some modifications and couldn't be happier with the results, so I'm posting an updated recipe. This time it struck just the right balance of bready malt, residual sweetness, subtle rye spice and hop bittering. The rye also gives it a fuller mouthfeel and a bit of oiliness on the tongue. It goes down way too easy as I discovered Saturday when smoking a brisket and had to take a nap just after eating.

They come in handy, not so much the band saw for beer brewing, but its a good tool to have arround. There is also a ladder.
