Aroma: Trademark rasin-like character with sweet malt as well. Faint bits of alcohol if sniffed hard enough.

Appearance: Dark brown with a huge 3 finger head with pillowy bubble matrix. Good clarity.

Taste: Lots of malty sweetness with a hint of biscuit-like flavors. I'm getting meladoinins out the wazoo here and it's phenomenal.

Mouthfeel: Thick and mildly-chewy, but still dry in the finish. Wonderful balance, no iuea how these breweries achieve this so consistently. Creamy head may add to that thick mouthfeel?

Overall: A wonderful example of the Dubbel style. Easy drinking with requisite sweetness and subtle fruit notes. Highly recommended.
