I like it, but maybe reword the intro on the right. Maybe something like:

"Do you want to join a forum established by a group of veteran homebrewers,
who are very willing to help others looking to get started in homebrewing,
and are also open to new ideas and sugestions from other experienced Brewers.
Then check out the up and coming comunity at homebrewchatter.com"

Kind a long but i think that the one now is singling out new brewers and i think that it would be
good to also try to market to people who have been brewing for awhile too. I will toss it around and try to
shorten it, feel free to use any of or none of it.

Awesome, WOP, I"m using it. I'm not much of a writer.

... I was also thinking, maybe I should throw some titties on there?

"Titties and Beer"

I think we got our tag line!

When are you looking at putting the ad up? I could try to clean it up a bit, and shorten it a little, that was just spit balled off the top of my head.

If you wan to check out some of my other writing you should check out indianabeer.com and look for the article about octoberfest under the adventures page.

I'm wanting to start advertising early next week. It's good type though. If you want to change it, post it here and I'll make the changes before I send it over.

I was thinking the same thing, that it was too directed towards beginners. Glad you wrote what you did, it's better than what I had.

I went to Mad Anthony's over the holiday! ... was overly impressed with the beers I had though and our waiter was an idiot. He knew practially nothing about the beers. The barleywine was pretty good though, a little hot on the alcohol though.

Not changed much, but I think it shifts the tone a little.

Well, I got antsy and sent it in with WOP's text, touched up by DS. Should start getting some traffic from BYO.com!!! sweeeeeet. Think I might take out a textual ad in the magazine as well.

Looks good to me. You know i was just reading a BYO (at work) and was thinking that it would be pretty sweet to see an ad in there too. Good Job OFLan.

Yea, I haven't got an email about it going live yet, I suspect tommorow it will start rotation.

Heh, I have clicked BYO 4 million times today watching for the ad.

Me too, dude said it's in rotation though. That's cool with me, I want my 2400/month views spread out across days. They get like a quarter million hits a month.

I am trying but not yet i keep seeing the same 5 or 6 ad's, kinda gay.

I suspect they are paying a lot more than I am. I'm paying $60 for 2400 impressions, they are probably spending a couple hundred or more, so they are shopping a lot more.

We will have a text ad in the next BYO magazine :)
