I think I'm allergic to one of the bacteria used in certain sours. I had a food allergy feeling in my throat after drinking half this bottle, same feeling I get if i eat raw carrots or broccoli from the yeast that is on their flesh

Yeah, it's very tart. It was brewed using Flyangler18's Dulle Griet recipe, including the Rosalere strain. Directly pitched the blend into fresh wort. Primary as usual then into a corn whiskey barrel for over a year. Then it was back-blended with a belgian blonde and racked onto 2.5lbs of fresh, pressed blackberries. Overall, I like it, but it's not one of those beers I'll crack open by myself. It'll get shared w/friends. Also, I think it'd work as a base for vinaigrette. Thanks for the review, flan.

Oh shit, that's where that killer red color came from, the blackberries!! Also, I swear I smelt/tasted oak in there, glad I wasn't crazy. Thanks again, I really enjoyed it. Wish I didn't get the allergy thing after half of it, but that's my shitty immune system for you. May be from the fresh blackberries.
