It seems a bunch of guys around here are having kids. I am joining the club. My wife had her 4 month ultra sound yesterday and everything is looking healthy. I felt the kid move around for the first time this week. Which is one of the coolest things ever. :D

No we are waiting for the surprise. I thought it would be pretty common for people to do that but apparently not when I talk to friends, co-workers, and doctors.

We found out the sex of ours...not quite sure what purpose prolonging the mystery serves, myself - we were able to finalize a name, but more importantly, all our friends and family could buy him plenty of clothes without fear of getting the wrong stuff. Yeah, I know, it doesn't much matter when they're that young, but still, it was just easier...plus, I couldn't stand the damn OB nurse knowing and us not. That would drive me crazy.

For us, diapers and white t-shirts. It's due in June so we don't really even need clothes for it until September when it starts getting cooler.

What's so hard about it? I always hear all this stuff about "he looks like a ____", but I've never bought that line...I think it's more superstition than anything else, personally. But to each their own.

This attachment of names to faces is superficial at best. Your kid's face will end up "fitting" whatever name you give it. Plus, no child of mine will ever be a "Ted" or "Frank" (Theodore? Franklin? Francis? Fag names.)

Welcome to the group. It is a lot of very gratifying work with a ton of reward. Best thing I have done in my life.

My little baby (Elodie) just turned one, and I am honestly a bit sad I will not have any more little ones around. The time goes very fast so be sure to cherish the moments. You will look back fondly sooner than you think on 2am moments rocking your baby to sleep.

Also, I love picking names for kids. We had our picked way ahead of the births for both my girls. We found out with Sibella, and were surprised with Elodie. Both experiences were great.

The only Candice I know is smoking hot.

My kids are 32 and 36. Easy for me to say "Nothing to it" at this point. :cool:
