Going out this weekend..

I live in Louisiana, closest big city to me worth mentioning is New Orleans. Anyone from around this area? I'm thinking about going to Lagers in Metairie. They have beer from all over the US and some other countries on tap. So, if my friends can get off, I'm going get shit faced. 3 weeks on call and I finally get to take a break! Take a look at the menu of beer, make some suggestions as to what I should try, I've never been there so...

On draft, the belgian selection is pretty rough, avoid it. In bottles though they have Westmalle Tripel which is, in my opinion, the best tripel on the planet and you should try it. Its so damn good.

Honestly, their entire draft list is pretty underwhelming, I'm betting you could find a better beer bar in New Orleans. In fact, a little googling showed me this place that has a fantastic draft list: http://theavenuepub.com/beer-spirits/big-beer-list - I'd love to try that Green Flash Belgian they have on tap. Looks like they have a local stout on nitro too.

May just go to Lagers to eat then lol. Have that bottled beer you mentioned. New Orleans has a bunch of micro-breweries. May do that instead now.
