That's awesome.. I saw a blog posted on bacon, chocolate chip cookies the other day as well. I'm afraid if I try some crazy chocolate bacon food item I'll be dead in a year from a heart attack.

Yeah, Jen and I loved em! We are going to bring them to the next party we go to and just not tell anyone there is bacon in them.....see how long it takes people to figure it out!

That would have to be a once a year thing for me, i could see myself eating them all the time.

Yeah, crispy fried bacon VERY well drained....use a double boiler to melt simi sweet chocolate chips, and crush a handfull of smoked almonds.I just spooned the chocolate on to the bacon then sprinkled the almonds. Took about 15 min start to stop.

AFter freezing them you should put in a thick breading then deep fry again :)

Lay some carmel down on top of the bacon before the chocolate and then deep fry. You could have the first deep fried bacon snickers bar. I think that would sell really well at the county fair.

Old post, but you can get bacon chocolate at the Shara Mart (Local international market) here in Bloomington. Haven't tried it, but I've heard it's quite tasty. To be honest though it freaks me out a little bit. ;)

ha ha, local international market. .. .. try local stinky hippy mart. Or I'm a tree hugger so I buy over priced produce cause it gets a hug every night mart. or ... you get the point. good beer selection, but I really don't think I can bring my self to shop for food there Paul. Next brew day we should have someone on the side just making DS's bacon choco bars.
