I'm heading to the airport in Buffalo (3.5 hours away) around midnite tonight to hop a plane to Atlanta that takes off at 6 am, then I have to drive a rental another 2 hours to the lakehouse where my whole family, +niece & nephew +grandfather +father's new fiance +my new soon to be sister in law will be. Am I looking forward to the travel? Not. At. All. But it will be a real spirit lifter to see everyone together like that. Doesn't happen too often these days and we are all just getting used to not being around each other like we were a few years ago. So, Happy 4th to all! I will hopefully get a couple hours sleep on the plane. God knows I've gotten barely any this week.

The folks next door to us at the lake last night had $1500 worth of fireworks. Was kick ass, didn't rain, but we had some lightning going on at the same time. Was really awesome.
