I've driven close to 24 hours to see a band before... but I was more than a phan, I was obsessed.

That's cool. I was best friends with the guitarist Quinn Allman all through grade school. And my Mom babysat the lead singer when he was a baby. I haven't talked to Quinn in a long time but I need to score some tickets.

I have had tickets 2X to the Cure and for one reason or another (hurricane - car broke down) never went. They are coming to Dallas next month but I want to see the 1984-1991 Cure not the current Cure.

Liking the Cure doesn't mean that you're gay, liking the Smiths does.
Liking the Cure means you're bi.
