My late grandfather took my sister and me to Mexico when we were kids. When we saw some posters for a bullfight one Sunday, we started bugging him to take us b/c we thought it would be "neat". He flatly refused and told us he saw a bullfight in Mexico once and it was one of the sickest things he'd ever witnessed and had no desire to see one again. Ever. And he fought in the Pacific in WWII.

I saw a rodeo once where the guy on the bull got thrown and the clown got gored. It was freaking scary to watch. He did get up and walk out but I'm not sure how badly he was hurt.
