I've always wanted to see a tornado

Tornadoes have plagued my life. 2 schools, 1 house, and the bar I worked at have been blown down by tornadoes on separate occasions.

Note to self: Stand far away from Redweasel, and his little dog Toto, too.

Damn, I live in Hampton Roads and totally missed this.

A coworker lives in Suffolk. The tornado hit about five miles from his house, he came home to find shingles, siding and insulation all over his yard. It's amazing no one was killed.

It really is a truly amazing site to see what is trashed and left alone in the aftermath. When the bar got hit we had pool tables on end, a boat on the roof, 1/2 of the building gone, but you could have stood behind the bar and watched it all. Bar itself was untouched, dry, no bottles moved, and the bait dollar still in the tip jar.

Yeah, that is what flips me out about tornadoes, 2 feet can make all the difference. We got lucky a few weeks ago. They hit about 1/16th of a mile from us.

Out of nature's oddities, Tornadoes rank right up there with the weirdest. I've had my share of them as well. Still pretty cool to watch tho.
